The breeding of rodeo cattle has become a passion to the Carlton Cattle Company. Beyond this, our experience in the cattle industry runs 3 generations deep. As a former competitor, contractor and most recently a producer, we feel we have the experience and vision necessary to select the right cattle that will either produce winners or become one themselves.  We feel that our cattle, through their genetic make up, has what it takes to compete at the level to return an investment for their owner or a potential owner. In today’s “bull industry” there is a lot of money at stake. This is what makes many of these animals so valuable. We also feel that if you choose to purchase from us you are buying from a program that will give you an outstanding chance to compete at the top level of this industry.

  Carlton Cattle Company has invested thousands of dollars in our cattle. Over the years we have purchased such sires as #122 Copenhagen Vegas, #3 Achy Breaky and #46 Copenhagen Zandy. We are also very proud of our females, which will continue to produce calves for many years to come. Our herd has own daughters not only of our sires but, Panhandle Slim, Washita Outlaw, Skat Kat, A9 Copenhagen Lite, Chicken Pox, Erks Me and many more.

 Located in Sanger Texas, the ranch covers 560 acres, and is divided into several pastures, making it possible to separate sires during breeding season.  This insures that only the selected sires have access to his herd.

We have recently completed our new set of working pens at the headquarters. These pens were built to prevent escape and injury to animals. We have added a hydraulic chute to also prevent injury. We are proud of our nearly completed covered arena. This will allow us to buck and develop bulls regardless of the weather conditions.

  Carlton Cattle Company offers the following services:

•         1)  Pasture exposure breeding

•         2)  Bull training or development (under 4 yrs of age)

•         3)  Boarding of bulls

•         4)  ½ interest ownership of bulls
